The BWS is Austria 's leading trade fair for the wood and metal producing and processing industries. As a well-established industry get-together of constantly increasing international significance the show is solution-orientated, practical, compact and well structured. With 459 directly and indirectly represented exhibitors and approximately 18.000 trade visitors, the BWS 2009 emphasized its high standing for the Austrian and neighbouring markets once more.
The success of the past BWS also manifests itself in the results of the questionnaire done by the independent research institute “market”. 93% of the trade visitors were very satisfied with the show and 92,1% definitely profited from the visit. 97,3% will recommend the event to business colleagues and seventh visitor out of ten does not visit any other comparable trade fair.
